Miss Delaware Teen USA – Kayla Kosmalski

Kayla Kosmalski has made an incredible impact for individuals living with disabilities. As the first woman with Down syndrome to hold a Miss Teen USA state title, her goal is to show girls around the world that our only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves. Kayla dedicated over 120 hours to charity during her senior year. She is a champion of change, helping pass several laws, including Kayla’s Law (ABLE Act); empowering Americans with disabilities to achieve financial independence. She recently graduated as a member of the NHS, with a 3.7 GPA, while also excelling in cheer, swim, and theatre. Kayla will cheer for Wilmington University this fall while pursuing a degree in Communications.
